Since rock-steady started Jamaica, on the B side of the 45" instrumental versions of songs recorded on A side. In the studio recording the instrumental part was completely reworked: the rythm slowed down, melodic instruments (keyboards and horns) only cropped up in a carpet of sound where the bass and drums were the masters. The music thus created was called dub, from double (meaning two versions of the same song).
The Dub Club uses the same formula, the first half of the album is in pure RasteR style, with songs arranged with verses and choruses, as well as the Italian musical culture imposes, while the second half is entrusted to Vlastur, which distorts and re-arranges the songs mixing with the sound atmospheres from Greece, the gateway between East and West.

BIOGRAPHY
RasteR were formed in 2000 and have worked with Madaski (Africa Unite, The Dub Sync), Paolo Baldini (BR Stylers, Africa Unite, The Dub Sync), Riccardo Schippa (Frost), Neil Perch (Zion Train), Marcello Coleman (Almamegretta), KG Man (Quartiere Coffee, Rezophonic). The Dub Club is their seventh studio album.

Vlastur began his journey into music as a bassist. In 2009 he released his first album, " Interaxion dub", which gave him international visibility. He has worked with Gaudi, Irina Mikhailova and has produced remixes for Bombay Dub Orchestra, Etnica.
